Merry Christmas

And so it's Christmas. What's it really mean?

It means one week to January first man! New Year's Resolution time. Ring up the sales!

Oh. No it doesn't. That's not what it means. Christmas is a day of giving... Of birth. (and for Mary, giving birth). So what's the CEO of a fitness company got to say about that in his blog?

Plenty! Because Mary's gotta want to lose that extra baby weight and yowza have I got a great six week program for her!

Oh. No. That's not what I want to say.

What I want to say is... On behalf of the Beachbody family, I want to wish you a very happy holiday and a joyful, merry Christmas.

And I'd like to urge everyone to extend the peace and truth we enjoy during this time of year to every day and to every action all year long.

Have a great holiday weekend!

What's With The Pricey Push Up Stands?

You might think we're coo-coo, offering push-up stands for almost $40 when we already sell a set for $19.95.

Well, yes. We are coo-coo. But once you touch these, you'll understand; we're coo-coo like a fox, and you'll want the Power Stands for your home gym too.

This is what happens when, a trainer that is passionate about what he does, has time between celebrity clients who complain about sore wrists, aching hands, etc from doing push-ups. He thinks. He thinks some more. He looks at the common push-up stands he uses which are standard. He thinks. He kicks them across the room. He invents. And the result is massive leaps of improvement. Not cheap, per se, but better... remarkably better.

Tony went to work with the tooling folks and manufacturers, filed a patent application, and when they finally met his very narrow specifications, he had created the most heavy duty of all push-up stands in the land.

Now you're thinking "Ok. They're great push-up stands. So what?" Here's so what: Push-ups are an incredible chest resistance exercise, with multiple variations and dynamic benefits. The core benefits are often overlooked, but for anyone who wants to generate power throughout their physique, it's not generated by laying on your back and pushing a barbell into the air, it's by linking the entire muscular system using functional power moves - in this case, moves focusing on "push" from the chest. If you ever contemplated putting a barbell set in the basement (or, dare I say, a "Bowflex") think again about the value of these push-up stands for $39.95 and the core-strengthening/calorie burning benefits of push-ups that engage more than the pecs in your chest resistance workout. Synergy is what makes a workout ultra-productive. Now add the extreme comfort of these new stands, and we don't look so coo-coo anymore.

I'm making the point in this much detail because it's a little too much info for a simple sell page page online. But the blog is my little fiefdom, so this is where I can make it clear that: If you want to have a lean, solid core and a chest that is built and ripped, push-ups are THE way to get there. If you're going to invest in hundreds - if not thousands - of push-ups, these Power push-up Stands are a must. 'Nuff said.

WOWY Live -- aka "Fitness Camps"

In my chat the other night I announced that we would be scheduling at least four live weekend events in 2006. We are calling them "WOWY Live" events since the principal point is to get people together to workout with Tony Horton and other Beachbody trainers.

The basic plan looks like this:

Miami, FL - April
Chicago, IL - June
New York, NY - July
Los Angeles, CA - August

Specific dates and itineraries will come together in the next few weeks.

As we see how these weekends go we'll decide how many more to put on the schedule (if any). Based on past events that Tony has staged with members of the community, I am expecting them to be a huge success and a great place to learn directly from WOWY members and customers what's working and what's not, as well as a great forum to announce new initiatives/offer specials on product, etc.

Since space will be limited, we will offer reservations to MyBeachbody members first, then promote them to the rest of the database if space permits.

People Make It Happen

I could write volumes about the quality of the staff at Beachbody and Product Partners and I'd still never totally capture the enthusiasm, professionalism, and team culture that you can feel when you step through the door.

Last night was our annual holiday blow-out, which has come a long way since the very first dinner Jon Congdon, Rich Saitsky (our first VP of finance and operations) and I had at an Italian restaurant where we actually chose the wine off the menu based on how many airings of the Thin Thighs Guaranteed spot were playing that week on the Great American Country cable network.

It's a different story these days with a company of over 60 people celebrating our growth and the legions of satisfied successful customers.

Pictured here are a fraction of the people (and in some cases "their people") who make Beachbody work. There are a hundred others I wish I had photographed as the night turned into another showcase of dance moves and outtakes. (I'll consider posting the company video Robbie and Rick put together on this blog, once I clean it up a bit)

The bottom line is, there was a lot of love in the room, and a lot of relief that 2005, a transition year for the company, will soon give way to the promise of 2006. It's my job to make sure that this team has the resources and leadership to do what they do so well; Making Beachbody the leading innovator of in-home fitness programs and online support.

Here's to you Beachbody

Power 90 Never Stops

This is one of those posts that reads like a sales pitch. But, honestly, I am just so proud of this product, I am indulging myself.

We're in the final stages of shooting the next Power 90 infomercial this week, and the amazing-train that is Power 90 continues to chug down the Beachbody tracks. I just got done interviewing Alli Cormier on camera, a woman who lost 55 pounds at age 44, as she gets teared up about trying EVERYTHING else on TV including a litany of fad diets, only to fail over and over again. But when her husband Gil suggested Beachbody and specifically Power 90 she found real success. 55 pounds with Power 90? A product that sells on TV for less than a hundred bucks. Come on!

Randall Joiner has lost 140 pounds at age 33. He decided to get fit with Power 90 when he was at an amusement park and couldn't fit into one of the rides because he was too large. From no exercise at all, Randy took on Power 90 and the B-Lines to turn things around. His favorite aspect of the program was that the nutrition guide never told him he couldn't enjoy his favorite foods. That's what I'm talking about!

Craig Pincus is a chef who lost over 60 pounds and reversed an awfully high cholesterol problem! He went from a 38 waist to a 31. He used to have foot pain -- gone! -- now that he's not carrying all the weight. He made a great comparison in his interview to how he could pay hundreds of dollars a year on prescription meds, but instead, for less than a hundred bucks, he got healthy with Power 90 and kept the prescription money in his pocket.

Chris Girard lost 135 pounds with Power 90, motivated by medical problems and inspired by the real success stories and real promise of success of Power 90 which he saw in the last infomercial. He even lost 30 pounds in his first 30 days! He kept his motivation throughout the process by taking his progress photos every 30 days, and turning to the support community for encouragement (you guys rock!). Some of the moves were not easy at first, but he used Tony's modifiers to make it work for him while his body got stronger. He calls himself a walking billboard for the program, a product that cost him less than a hundred bucks which saved him thousands in future medical costs, and added years to his life. The emotional outpouring when he described his joy in being free to once again play with his 8 - yes 8 - foster kids was enough to get the entire crew sobbing.

It was another fun week, where we got to enjoy the people that make Beachbody a success of the most important kind. The stories which we heard from the Beachbody community over and over this week inspired us all, from Diva, Johana, Debbie, Brent, and the rest, and remind me to be grateful for how fun and important the work we do is.

I would be very surprised if the Sauna Belt, Bun and Thigh Machines, 6 second Abs, or even gastric bypass surgeons would ever get passionate testimonials like this. I am grateful for the amazing effort of these people and anyone who has join the healthy lifestyle we are advocating with Power 90.

As Chris Girard said: "I was 400 pounds. If I can do it, anyone can do it. The key is, you have to commit yourself to the program, to living this healthy lifestyle. Then, it absolutely will not fail."

Perfectly said Chris. This product has overcome the long odds of being a TV success over and over again. When we first launched Power 90, we were told it looked like too much work. When we took people to Hawaii to celebrate their results, we were told we could never get a second hit out of a show featuring real people instead of fitness models and celebs. And after we celebrated our one-millionth customer we were told it was time to retire the brand and move on. We'll see. I think this program is right on the mark, and will show us again that the Tony Horton Power 90 machine has a long way to go, and a lot more people it can help.

Express Plans... Why They Matter

We just completed a couple new 6-day express test groups, and I am constantly amazed at the motivation people get from the numbers.

It is enlightening to hear someone bragging about losing "ten pounds in 6 days", especially when they fully understand that often much of it is water weight. It's that sense of accomplishing something - anything - that matters. You know you're on the right track when you stick with something and see results, results in both the stats and the way your body feels.

With the rising rate of obesity in the country, finding any traction on a solution that can affect real behavior change toward a healthier lifestyle is nothing short of a breakthrough. Society so easily embraces surgical and drug therapies for weight control. The science and medical industries are blindly entrusted with being the source of "new breakthroughs", and behavioral and psychological factors are largely dismissed.

But at Beachbody we're seeing proof that it's the other way around. When you succeed in the psychological battle, the physical benefits from healthy habits like eating and exercise follow. Not drug therapies. Not surgery. Not short term results this way - with long term maintenance that way.

Many of the people we interview have a lot of weight to lose. But with a dose of early success, they sound energetic, and for once engaged in taking care of themselves. But what is equally encouraging is they are also not fooling themselves. They know to lose more, they need to keep at it. They know they're not going to lose ten pounds every week. But they do see that to get results, they need to get toned and build metabolism-supporting muscle, and they need to continue to put the effort into meal planning to properly fuel the body. It's a snapshot of a healthy reality. Get a small taste of success, and the long term doesn't seem so difficult.

When we first launched the 6 day express concept under Slim in 6, we took a lot of heat from people who felt it was a sell out. But if you ask anyone who struggles with weight, the big hurdle between getting started on a healthy program or not is skepticism that all the effort will really pay off. So the 6 Day Express was the perfect way to launch people into a change of habits, without all the confusion that waits for you at every turn, with almost every click of your mouse.

I mean, just look at all these different diets listed on "AOL's Diet A to Z": 3-Hour Diet, 6-Day Body Makeover, 8 Minutes in the Morning, Abs Diet, Atkins, Blood Type, Body for Life, Cabbage Soup, Jenny Craig, Curves Online, eDiets, Fat Flush, Fit-for-Life, French Women's Diet, Glycemic Index, Grapefruit, Bob Greene Chic, Hamptons, L.A. Shape, LA Weight Loss, Living Low Carb, Nutrisystem, Dean Ornish Moderation!, Dr. Phil, Perricone Promise, Picture Perfect, Pritikin, Scarsdale, Slim-Fast, Step Diet, Solution Low carb, South Beach, Sugar Busters, Suzanne Somers, Weight Watchers, and The Zone.

Are you kidding me? Which one is supposed to be the "right one"? Read that list and one thing is so perfectly clear: Success is just not about a new diet breakthrough. It's about having simple tools to do the one proven thing that will reverse years of body abuse, and staying motivated to stay with it. All you need is a plan to:

1. Space your meals so you eat every three hours or so.
2. Eat enough to preserve your metabolism, but not so much you store more than you burn
3. Choose foods more so you properly fuel your body more than just trying to please your tongue.
4. Exercise with enough intensity that you burn excess calories but maintain muscle mass

And you need to be consistent for enough time to make a difference. That's what we are trying to inspire people to do at Beachbody. In ten days with Turbo Jam, Hollie Shillig lost 19 pounds. In 7 days with Yoga Booty Ballet, Fay Greene lost 7 pounds. With Kathy Smith's Project: YOU! Yuri Lowenthal lost 11 pounds in six days.

The short term results are impressive, but kind of meaningless from a health perspective until you look at how those express results foreshadow the overall success of using a healthy balanced program. Super model Kim Alexis lost 10 pounds in her first 6 days of Slim in 6, and a full 29 pounds by the time she completed the program! So many of the huge weight loss success stories we receive from real customers demonstrate the value of these express programs to the overall results.

So my point here is, an express program is a tool, intended to be an incredibly meaningful motivator when you need a motivator. If you EVER find yourself in need of a boost to get on track, as little as 6 days of focus can get you going. It's not cheating if it is the springboard you need to remind yourself how good it feels when you don't feel bloated, when you feel more energetic, and when you can really see that YOU are in control of your body.

So when the string of big holiday dinners draw to a close, kick yourself back into gear with your own express program, and see how quickly your body - and mind - respond.

Getting Ready For January

Here it is the first of December, and I'm already thinking ahead to the launch of the big "Body Transformation Season, 2006" that gets into gear on New Years Day.

I just got off the phone with the programmers and told them I want to launch the year with a $1,000 WOWY contest that will encourage everyone to get their photos into WOWY and kick the year off with clear intent that 2006 is the year of real transformation - lifestyle, body, and habits.

So in addition to a month long January initiative with specials and daily prizes, we'll be choosing someone (who has a WOWY photo) working out in WOWY on Jan 1st 2006 at 1PM ET/10AM PT to win $1,000 cash! (void where prohibited, like wherever you're not allowed to get paid just to workout)

We'll talk about 2006 more in future installments - but I personally intend to kick the year off with a solid commitment to stay consistent, and that day will be a critical point from which to launch.

I'm going in right now to schedule the WOWY session for that day (P90X Yoga-X, starting at 9:45AM PT) and I look forward to finding out who my Success Buddies will be! I hope to see you there

Gratitude

I am guessing the great Bloggosphere is filled with Thanksgiving lists of gratitude... and mine won't be any different...

I am one lucky guy, most of all because of the people that surround me, friends and family alike, especially a five year old named Ava. I am so grateful I have taken the time to get to really know her, because by doing so, I have gotten to know myself.

And I am so grateful for the people at Beachbody who maintain a culture of creativity, productivity, and fun. Everyone who walks into the place seems to say how impressed they are with the spirit and energy of the office.

I am grateful that the company we created, and the products that we distribute, have attracted the type of customers we call "the MyBeachbody Community". Honestly, it would not be fun to go to work if we didn't get to share in the smiles and successes of our customers. The community is where we get to hear what our work does for people - the important stuff. Sure there's the little issues of the business model we need to iron out. But when you hear about adults getting off diabetes and cholesterol medications, young women conquering eating disorders, kids crawling out of obesity, all with programs we distribute, it makes you swell up with pride. It gives me the perspective of what these programs mean, and reinforces our discipline to stay on task.

And for all of that I am grateful and more excited than ever for what is ahead of us.

Thanks to everyone of you!

Who is buying this stuff?

Big news! Looks like you can go ahead and sell your Power 90 on ebay. Return your Turbo Jam. Drag your treadmill and other equipment out to your next yard sale. Turns out, if you want to lose fat and inches fast, there is no need to exercise or eat right according the makers of the Velform Sauna Belt, MZ Direct Response.

"Will exercise give you fast results?... Not a chance!"

"You'll immediately see results with no effort!"

And from their website: "The Amazing new Velform Sauna Belt helps you to sweat away unwanted fat, eliminate cellulite, lose weight and ease muscle pain - all while sitting in the comfort of your own home."

Who watches that guy take the Sauna Belt off and believes he got those abs with that thing? And is the couple hundred bucks the model received for this shoot worth more than his self-respect? I just don't get it. This infomercial has climbed through the ratings chart from its recent debut, up to the top 15. Their media buyers are out-bidding other infomercial marketers to place the Sauna Belt show in prime media. They are positioning themselves for an enormous rollout in 2006. And from what we have heard, there are already knock-offs in development. So not only will you see ads for this one, there will be three or four copycats on the air promising results of "one inch in one hour". Does that media agency care so much about making their commission on this client that they are willing to further tarnish the already strained perception of the infomercial medium? And do the stations that accept this kind of advertising really care that little about their viewers? This business can be remarkably productive for generating customers, but not for long if the leaders in the industry as a whole don't use professional discretion.

"But how can they afford to even market this product?" you ask. "Haven't we already learned not to buy this stuff?"

Guess not... Because people are buying it. A lot of people are buying it. People didn't learn from the hundreds of thousands of units of "Ab Stimulator" belts sold three years ago which then got yanked off the market by the FTC. People didn't learn from the "Ab Roller craze" and subsequent "Ab Roller garage sale" craze years later.

No matter how many times the morning news shows and Oprah pronounce that the only healthy solution is "exercise and portion control", there will always be consumers looking for a short-cut, even if it's insane, and there will always be a new fast-buck company willing to scorch the earth under an entire industry for a one-off hit. That's the environment Beachbody is operating in. But we will not be deterred. We will always pursue solutions that work. We will always preach a message of a healthy lifestyle.

Look at this book shelf at a nearby Barnes & Noble. That's over 25 titles, each promising THE ANSWER to your weight loss needs. Each with its own unique twist, each with a promise of being the last book you'll ever need.

Different strokes for different folks. That's why we have multiple brands and solutions at Beachbody, from ten minutes a day, to six weeks, to 90 days and more. As long as the message is clear, and based on proven healthy principles, the innovation will continue. But they are all rooted in the same basic premise that you need to both exercise, and improve your diet choices.

One of the reasons that we adopted the "Decide. Commit. Succeed" motto is that it's important to carefully "decide" when choosing the solution that's right for you. Don't just follow the latest hot one you read about in People Magazine. Choose something that makes sense for you. If it doesn't make sense to you, then it's not for you, because you'll lose faith in it quickly. It has to make sense!

And of course, wrapping a piece of plastic and velcro around your waist doesn't make sense if you want to lose fat and inches and be healthy. Eating ONLY protein doesn't make sense. Popping a pill doesn't make sense.

I know Beachbody is not perfect. We have our own customer complaints. But never do we not get things resolved, and never do we actively set out to disrespect the customer. In case the folks at MZ Direct are reading this, as one businessman to another, wouldn't it be more rewarding to create wealth by helping people succeed and improve their lives? There's a lot of opportunity in the world. Choose the one that makes this a better experience for everyone, not the one that abuses the privilege for your own benefit.

What Am I Doing?

A few people have written to ask what my workouts consist of these days, so I figured I'd lay it out here.

With ski season approaching, my goal is to get my legs in shape BEFORE I get to the mountain, rather than to simply start skiing and wish I had gotten them in better ski shape ON the mountain.

While I have not set any specific travel plans yet, one of the best ski trips I've ever had was a boondoggle Jon Congdon, Tony Horton and I had in Aspen a couple years ago. (photo). It was a last minute trip and an absolute blast. From the small world department, we ended up running into Phil Jones and his wife Ashley from Pure Kauai who were in Aspen for the same weekend... totally random, and a lot of fun.

So - I am focusing on legs, butt, back (lower), and abs with a mix of upper body and cardio. Last night I did the new Power 90 Masters Series Plyo Legs. That's going to be a real staple to my training regimen for ski prep as I work toward getting in 50 hardcore leg workouts before I get to a mountain sometime in January.

If anyone wants to join with that motivation we could start a WOWY group. Let me know and I'll get it done!

The results are in!

As you might recall, in early October I mentioned how Thomas Haire, editor of the direct response industry's trade magazine "RESPONSE" had begun Power 90 to see if it could help him lose weight as promised in the infomercial.

Tom completed his 90 days last Saturday, and he let us know how he did:
Jon

I weighed-in Saturday morning (day 90) at 201, a total loss of 37 lbs. in 90 days. I went through the measurements the day before. I lost six inches off my waist and hips, and two inches off my chest and thighs. Toned up my arms about 1-1 1/2 inches also. The program worked wonders. You’ll see the before and after photos in the December issue Editor’s Note. My plan now is to get back into the gym, utilizing the circuit program I learned from the DVDs with free weights, while mixing in some of my own cardio with at least one day a week of the Power 90 cardio. Should continue working out about 5 days a week. As far as diet goes, I plan on splurging a little bit more than I did during the 90 days, but doing the program for those 90 days has changed how I see food and how I will approach my overall eating plan. I will definitely continue with the eating plan I learned from Power90. My goal now is to maintain my weight between 195-205. If I continue to see a loss, I could be convinced to shoot for 190, but my body type probably doesn’t allow for much more than that. It’s been an amazing, enlightening experience for me. I never would have believed I could accomplish what I did, and the program is so simple that, as long as you commit to it, you can’t help but do yourself some good. The thing I like about it the most from a marketing standpoint is that it is absolutely on the consumer to commit. The product delivers what it promises, but only if the buyer commits to the program. A buyer could never point the finger at the product and say, “This doesn’t deliver!”

Thanks so much!

Tom

Note: I happen to think Tom could get to his goal of 190 without a lot of extra effort, and I hope the word "splurge" doesn't back fire on him. According to some research, people who gain back five pounds or more are the ones who find themselves back on the slippery slope to gaining it ALL back, plus, plus.

A diet expert was in the office the other day and he said something that really nailed it: "You can do more damage in 3 minutes of eating than you can make up in three hours of exercise." While that might be an exagerration unless you're competing in a pie-eating contest, the point is clear: Weight maintenance requires lifelong eating habits that balance calories in and out. Splurging happens, but you can't let it creep into a three or four times-a-week habit. I think what's most important frankly, when considering the splurge, is that you remember how good it feels when you don't feel bloated, how good it feels when your clothes fit, how good it feels when you actually like your waistline. The splurge is much less appealing when you remember how much better "thin feels".

All work... is dull

In case you wondered whether we're all work over here at Beachbody, here's a copy of an email string that happened the other day when my assistant was out of the office and I needed to organize a coffee run...

===========================
From: Carl Daikeler

This is dangerous, but… First person who emails me that they’re getting coffee across the street, I’ll buy if you pick me up a medium size dark roast.

Enjoy!

Big deal... unless GRANDE is French for "Harley"

Rick – This is the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Good work son.

You’ve got a bright future at this company. I am going downstairs to move Jon’s car so you can have his parking spot from now on. And see me later for a key, fluffy robe and slippers for our executive lounge and spa.

Relax everyone – Carl did give me the ten million dollars - but it was ten million dollars in “Beachbody store credit”. Anyone need a couple thousand copies of Power 90?

Sounds to me like you have already had too much coffee, easy on the caffeine Mr......

Carl -

As per our conversation in the Executive Spa, here’s the revisions I would make to our site.

Rick

P.S. Thanks for the foot rub.

P.P.S. Who is "Staff"? I see he is on all of these correspondences. Does he have the true power around here? If so, does he need some coffee too?

Yes, we hear you... You want more!

As Turbo Jam has started to get more notice now that the infomercial is on TV and people are experiencing the "party" that these workouts represent, the demand for an even more challenging and lively set of routines has been a recurring theme of many emails I get each week. (Yes VF'ers, that means you!)

We have completed principle photography on six new, more advanced Turbo Jam LIVE! videos which we are planning to release as they are completed - probably starting in December. Cardio Remix and Turbo Jam Booty Sculpt will be the first two titles in this new set. While they are more advanced routines, they still keep the workout to around thirty mins since that is by far the most popular feature of most of the Beachbody catalog (Time matters to most customers!).

The next four videos, which we shot this week will be Fat Blaster (30 mins), Turbo Jam 3T's of Sculpting (30 mins), Cardio Party 3 (45 mins), and Punch Kick and Jam (45 mins).

In January we will take it yet another level up with more advanced hour-long workouts, and a couple other twists I have in mind for this line.

Meanwhile, for anyone looking for the Yoga Booty Ballet Masters Series, the first of the five titles, "Yoga Core" is now hidden deep within the Core/Yoga Gear section of the website.

WOWY crosses 200,000!

Today WOWY crossed over the 200,000 workouts-to-date mark for 2005! That's 200,000 times people have overcome that urge to blow off their workout.

We hit the magic number of 200,000 workouts when MyBeachbody member PWmn1973 logged in for an hour of cardio at 2:45 PM PT!

That's consistency! That's persistence!

In case you think that's nothing... I sat next to Tony Horton on the plane coming back from Hawaii Friday to learn that, he too has the struggle to stay motivated to workout. He told me that if he has plans to workout with friends or a client, and they cancel, he often will have that urge to skip it "just this once". But he pulls himself together and he gets it done. So if the king of fitness has to work at staying on track, the rest of us should be proud whenever we string together a consistent week or month... Just like the Beachbody community has demonstrated 200,000 times so far in 2005!

Nice work to everyone who logged in their workouts. I'm guessing we could get close to 300,000 by the end of the year, but it will be difficult to actually hit that number. We'll see.

Erick and his team are working on some new features which will bring more people to the WOWY party. But that's slated for the end of the year.

In the meantime, congrats to everyone who has won the $100 so far, and keep logging in your workouts with the last week of the October WOWYfest ahead of us! (Can I finally take the dress off?)

The Last Hawaii Hurrah of 2005

Well, what a week. What a group. What a night. As I said at tonight's dinner, I am grateful for this group, while Beachbody deals with the firestorm of misunderstanding resulting from its offer set and custiomer service track record for 2005 -- yes, we have a lot to improve... but the attitude, success, and joy on the faces of these folks fills the entire team with hope.. Beachbody will help more people, and we will continue to improve, because every single customer is worth it!

Now - here's the crazy night - -karaoke, photos, and dancing... Looking forward to next year already!

A Few Photos from Dinner

It was a great dinner put on by our hosts Pure Kauai.

The group seems very relieved to have the interviews behind them. Everyone seems to be having a great time, and as usual making strong relationships with the other guests that will carry on throghout the year on the Beachbody message boards and to fitness gatherings throughout the country.

I think we are all getting a little restless!

With the big workout behind us, with hardly a complaint from anyone, it was time for just a quick lunch, showers, then the group interview. I think the gang and the crew is starting to think ahead to the beach day planned for Thursday. I'm hearing murmurs of vodka/pineapple shots and chocolate cake!

The Lawn Shoot

It was a non-stop grueling three hours of shooting, including the new Power 90 Fat Burning workout with plenty of new inspiration from the 2005 Success Stories.

That is an Upside Down Dawn

"Wow" is all I could think as I took this 5:45AM photo. Storm clouds are threatening our shoot today. But it's almost worth it with a dawn like this.

Muscle... at Dusk

Cort, Bernie and the crew oversee shots of Aaron - 107 pounds lighter thanks to Power 90, and Jack who was crossing to get in position for his shots to show off his results -- 63 pounds lighter.

Aaron responded with a sprint and a leap to finish off the shoot, after being asked to "Frolick more".
